The East Bay Regional Park organizes many activities year-round for people of all ages and all tastes. I once took a class on sunset photography from Don Jedlovec. It was a nice experience. We were a group of about 10 photographers equipped wih camera and tripod standing in a rather cold evening at the top of Glider Hill. We kept shooting till it was quite dark. Not every sunset is equally gorgeous, one has be patient and lucky. On this evening, towards the very end of our photo session a jet plane flew by and left a vapour trail which was immediately caught on by the red rays of the falling sun and set on fire (metaphorically speaking).
