Eucalyptus Bark Texture Eucalyptus Bark Texture Eucalyptus Bark Texture
Texture of eucalyptus bark. Eucalyptus tree has relatively thin bark that routinely peel off. Eucalyptus tree appear to have a large number of varieties. Some mature eycalyptus seem to be in a permanent state of bark peeling. While in some plants this creates a really clean looking tree trunk, in others, it gives a really unclean and sloppy appearence, with large chuks of bark in semi-suspended state. There is a variety called Rainbow Eucalyptus, which have a nice mild colored tree trunk. There are many eucalyptus trees at the Coyote Hills Regional Park, the trees in this photo are at the Visitor Center parking lot.
