From the top of this 325 ft high belltower there is a fine panorama of Vnice. The
campanile collapsed in 1902 but was rebuilt
stone by stone. The loggetta (small loggia) at its base has very pure lines.
Note the fine 18C bronze doors and in the niches the statues of Minerva,
Apollo, Mercury and Peace by Sansovino. A delightful Madonna, also
by Sansovino, will be found inside.
